Blue Tiger Eye is also known as, Rodusite, Falcon’s Eye, Silicified Crocidolite, and Hawk’s Eye. Tiger eye is a variety of quartz exhibiting chatoyancy, a vertical luminescent band.

Tigers eye is formed when parallel veins of crocidolite (Blue asbestos) fibers are first altered to iron oxides and then replaced with silica. 

Furthermore, Blue Tigers Eye can be found in various locations across the world. However, the biggest deposits are located in Brazil, Namibia, India and Canada.
